14 cards
Avicennia Averrhoa Mesua

Why these cards?

Each card is a plant with its photograph, the scientific name of its genus, and where the name came from: a scholar who wrote in Arabic, or an Arabic word that physicians and copyists carried into Latin; where the scientific name is not Arabic, the European word that carried the Arabic one. Every card has at least two sources, among them Abdelali Wadghiri's al-ʿArabiyyāt al-Mughtariba.
