Refund Policy

This policy forms part of the site's terms of use, and applies to every fee charged through it.

The trial period ended on 13 October 2026. Fees now apply as listed on the Prices page, and this policy covers every payment. Nothing created free of charge during the trial will be billed.

1. Researcher services

These are language review, scholarly consultation, and whatever is added to them. Work on them does not begin until the price has been presented to, and accepted by, the person who made the request.

The amount is refunded in full as long as work on the request has not begun.
If work has begun but is not complete, the part corresponding to the unfinished work is refunded.
If the work is delivered complete, there is no refund — the client may ask for correction of anything in which the provider fell short.
If the site declines the request after receiving payment, the amount is refunded in full.

2. Certificate fees

The amount is refunded in full as long as no certificate in the batch has been issued.
Once the first certificate has been issued there is no refund — the certificate has been issued with its code and entered in the verification register.
Withdrawing a certificate after it has been issued does not return its fee.

3. Scholarly publishing and peer-review fees

The journal page fee is refunded in full if the page is not approved.
If the site suspends the page after approving it, the part corresponding to the remaining period is refunded.
A paper submission fee is refunded if the paper has not been sent to a reviewer; once it has been sent it is not refunded, because the work is then in someone else's hands.

4. How to request a refund

Request it from the "My invoices" page in the payer's account, or by writing to the site's management from the "My messages" page.
Quote the invoice number — INV-YYYY-NNNNNN — which is the key.
The amount is returned to the same payment method it was paid with, and is not transferred to any other.
The time it takes to arrive depends on the bank and the payment provider, and is usually between three and fourteen days.

5. General

Where value-added tax was included, it is refunded along with the amount in accordance with the regulations.
This policy does not diminish any right guaranteed to the consumer by an applicable Saudi law.
It is updated when the services change, and the version published on the day of payment applies.
