Design your cards

Write your text, choose its template, size, ornament and colours, then download the card as an image for social media or as a PDF for print. The tool is built for Arabic text: poetry is set in two facing half-lines with even edges, and the text colour is drawn from the background itself.

The tool is for registered members, and registration is free.

Cards made with the tool

Poetry — Portrait — 1080 × 1350 — Poetry

Word lesson — Story — 1080 × 1920 — Word lesson

Event notice — A4 for print — 210 × 297 mm — Event notice

Greeting — Square — 1080 × 1080 — Greeting

Invitation — Invitation — 127 × 178 mm — Invitation

How it works

Choose a template and size: poetry, quote, word lesson, language tip, event notice, greeting or invitation.
Write your text and choose one of 24 ornaments, a background colour, a typeface and a frame. The card takes shape as you type.
Download the card: an image for social media, or a PDF for the print sizes.

What sets it apart

Half-lines of poetry share all four edges, stretched between letters (kashida) as a calligrapher would, not by spacing words apart.
You choose the background; the tool draws the text and ornament colours from the same hue and will not accept text that is hard to read.
Twenty-four Arabic ornaments in six families: arches, stars, bands, medallions, corners and rules.
Seven templates designed for Arabic text, and ten sizes from a bookmark to an A4 poster.
Arabic (١٢٣) or Western (123) numerals in one click, Hijri and Gregorian dates together, and an English line under the Arabic if you wish.

Terms of the service

The service is in a free trial and will be developed according to what the trial shows.
For registered members, 5 cards a day.
Every card carries the site logo and a small line with its name in a corner.
The site keeps an unpublished copy of every card designed here, for statistics, studying designs and improving the tool. It is never published or given to anyone. Its image and text are kept for 3 years and then erased; the design description (template, size, ornament and colours) remains, without identifying its owner.
You may have the copies of your cards erased at any time, with a button on the tool page.
The site logo may not be used on offensive or unlawful content, nor may the names or logos of organisations be used to impersonate them. The card's author is responsible for what it says.
The typefaces used (Amiri, Scheherazade, Tajawal and IBM Plex Sans Arabic) are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, so you may use what you design wherever you like.
