Diophantus's Arithmetica in Arabic
صناعة الجبر لديوفنطس
Diophantus wrote thirteen books on arithmetical problems; only six survive in Greek. In the shrine library at Mashhad an Arabic translation attributed to Qusta ibn Luqa came to light, with four books that have no Greek original. Its manuscript, copied in 595 AH (1198–99), is older than any Greek manuscript of his.
