Kept Alive in Arabic
Euclid's On Divisions of Figures
قسمة إقليدس
Euclid wrote on dividing figures – triangles, trapezia and circles – by lines in given ratios; its Greek original is lost. Franz Woepcke found its Arabic text in a Paris manuscript and published it in 1851, and Raymond Archibald rebuilt the book from it in 1915.
