Kept Alive in Arabic

The Book of Lemmas, ascribed to Archimedes

المأخوذات المنسوب إلى أرشميدس

Fifteen propositions on circles, whose earliest known copy is Arabic, in Thabit ibn Qurra's translation, from which it passed into Latin. Its attribution to Archimedes is doubtful, for the book names Archimedes himself; a later scholar may have gathered the propositions.
