Biography

A Maldivian judge and jurist. He combined parts he translated from Ahmad Zayni Dahlan's biography of the Prophet and al-Khudari's Nur al-yaqin into a single Dhivehi book (1937), a 1645-page manuscript, the best known such work in his country. Its introduction urges careful translation from Arabic. He also translated Sura al-Kahf.
