Biography

A Swiss scholar, she took her doctorate at Zurich and was the first woman in Islamic studies in Switzerland. The thesis's table of published texts credits her with Ibn al-Kalbi's Kitab al-Asnam, the Arabic text with a German translation (Leipzig 1941), after Ahmad Zaki Pasha's Cairo edition.
