Publication venues for Arabic linguistics

Peer-reviewed journals and refereed book series that publish research on the Arabic language — linguistics, grammar, phonetics, semantics, rhetoric, lexicography and the teaching of Arabic — in the Arab world and beyond, in Arabic and in other languages.

The directory holds two kinds of venue: those that accept submissions, and those that collect research to read but take none (conference proceedings, commissioned series) — each card says which. Cards are drawn from the venue’s own site, and “latest issue seen” tells you whether it is still publishing. Fees and rules change — check the official site before you submit.

Do you publish a peer-reviewed journal or book? Receive and review submissions here: a page for your journal where researchers send their papers, reviewers invited by email, and review that is blind in both directions. How it works
