The Sindhind Zij
زيج السند هند
Al-Khwarizmi's zij – astronomical tables built on an Indian work, the Sindhind – is lost in Arabic but survives in the Latin of the Englishman Adelard of Bath (c. 1126), made from the revision by the Andalusian astronomer Maslama al-Majriti. It probably holds the first sine tables, part of trigonometry, in Latin.
